    Prop Acme 380

I was thinking to get a new prop, probably Acme 1578. So I pulled my stock prop and it apears to be Acme 380. So I dont know if it make sence to upgrade now, will I notice big difference? I will run 1400lbs ballast with few people.

The 1578 is a stump puller. Perfect for that kind of extra weight.

I had a 380 stock on my 03' SAN and it was a slug, went to the 466 and it was so much better, same prop for SAN TE. Since then there are two stump puller options, 1578 and 1236 same pitch just different cupping.

Interesting, the only difference I see between 380 and 644 was a pitch but as long as it makes a difference. Hopefully there is big difference between 644 and 1578, then I should feel more torque if I go with 1578. I appreciate input guys.
