    Disassemble reversible seat, Nautique 210.

I'm going to reupholster the reversible seat on my 210, any tips on taking it apart? I've removed the screws on the hinge however it is still stuck fast in the middle. My guess is there are screws behind the traction pad or possibly some other fixing method?

    Thnx.

    seat pictured isn't my boat.

I am not sure about this at all, just a thought. Most of the vinyl cushions are pressed in with those Christmas tress fasteners. I'm wondering if that cushion is attached the same way.

I bet you are right...probably screws behind the "traction pad" seadek.

There are indeed screws behind the seadek pad. When I seadek'd my boat (previously had sano there) there were six screws if I remember correctly.

****, thought that may be the case. I don't really want to tear the traction pad (or what ever it's correct name is) off just yet as seadek is not on the upgrade list just yet. Guessing it would be pretty impossible to remove the standard pad and refit it.

Using the above picture as a good guide you might be able to feel where the screws are and then use a circular punch to remove 6 nice circles. Use some stainless washers when you put it back together and it would be nice enough until you replace it with seadek.
