    2012 210 Ski Locker Overflow

I ordered the FlyHigh ballast kit for the front of my 210. I plan to put a 350lb tube ballast bag to fill the rest of the ski locker.

Do you access the overflow from the stock ski locker ballast from pulling the seat off pointed to in the picture? Does it just have the Christmas tree studs on it? Or are they only at the bottom and then it slides off the top from metal brackets? ...this is how very nose seat was. I have new X-mas tree studs to replace the old when I put it back in, but just wanting to confirm that this is how you do it.

Any other advice on ballast? I have 1100s in the rear, i'm hoping this is enough weight up front. I have 100lb of lead in the bow under the seats, I might add another 100 or 200 up there. Thanks. ...I have only had the boat out a couple times so far, I don't even have the wake dialed at it is so awesome! ...I'm coming from a 2000 X-Star. This wake seems so much easier to hit and is bigger.

Seat has Xmas trees along the bottom and the edge by the walk thru. Once you pop those you slide seat up as there are 3 brackets that the seat slides onto to hold it in place .

you won't be able to run the 1100's full. Even with 160-200lbs of lead. About 1/2-3/4 tops in each 1100. You'll find the sweet spot somewhere in there . On my boat it's 2 cycles of the ballast pumps in the rear to get it where I want it. Don't think yours has the same timer so I'd fill everything. Once the belly starts overflowing I'd give it another minute , two tops on the rears. That should be the perfect starting point.

I just received the WakeMakers ballast kit for my 2012 210 and going to try and tackle it this weekend. By chance did you get your front hooked up...any pointers or tips???? I think the back will be pretty straightforward, but the front does not seem as easy.

      Thanks!!!!!

The access to the hoses , and implementation is just as easy as the rear. You can acccess everything easily. Just one extra step having to remove that drivers side bow backrest. Make sure you have a heat gun handy , makes it a breeze to attach and remove the hoses.

I agree with swat on the heat gun to soften up the ends of the new hose so it will slip on the barbed fittings easier. Also, used dish washing soap to lube the inside of the hose and the barbed fitting. This will help it to slide on much easier. I tried all kinds of things, but nothing worked as well as dish soap.

I piggy backed my rear sacks off the tanks and it was a bear to get the factory over flow hoses of the tanks and get the new hoes on the tank fittings. I think it would have been impossible to do on my boat without heat and soap. The through hull over flow fittings are a little smaller so there was no problem removing and replacing hoses on them.

Awesome...thanks guys. I'm glad I stumbled onto this thread because I was not sure where to gain access to the front hoses, but do now. I also have a heat gun, but would have never thought about using it. Here's to a trouble free install
