Am I crazy?
I want to mount my fire extinguisher on the inside under the observer seat. The 2 blue circles are where I want to drill through the fiberglass to mount it. I would use a #10 flathead machine screw, and use a flushmount drill bit so the screw would sit flush in the fiberglass.
Is the fiberglass thick enough there for this? I really like that mounting location because it is essientially wasted space so the fire extinguisher is not taking up any usable space.
Would it be better just to glue the bracket from the inside and forgo the holes? If so is there a glue strong enough?
Thanks.
