Replace LINC screen vs programming

My boat will arrive in about 1.5 hours and I'm super excited...however...delivery is about 2 hours delayed because upon final final testing this morning the LINC screen was barely visible. The dealer swapped screens which is good but I'm wondering if I'll end up like so many others who have had LINC replacement - will Pro Ballast be selected? So...is a 'screen replacement' the same as a LINC replacement? My understanding is that it is a single unit. Yes?

Configuration of a Linc... Options, model, color... All of it should take a dealer about 5-10 min. Whether it is a completely new one, or just a software update, your dealer should set it up, no worries.

So...as I feared...I am now a member of the group of LINC screen replacement sufferers with the Pro Ballast option not selected. My ballast fills up using the profile setting but then if I turn on the pumps manually they run for at least a few more minutes before overflowing.

The sales rep is reasonably sure they will simply make the correction over the phone with me to walk through the settings which is great.

A quick follow up question for LINC/Ballast experts...

There is a weight # displayed at the bottom of the LINC display as the ballast fills up. Is this an estimate based on the assumed amount of water the pumps would have moved over a period of time? I thought the profile ballast system was solely based on timers so that's all I can think of. My system will show up to about 730#s and then stops...

Yes, it is an estimate based on time and whether or not Pro Ballast is set to "yes."

Thank you. Based on Pro Ballast being an additional 600#s I'm still stuck wondering why it wouldn't display total stock ballast at 1,150#s then but we'll get it figured out I hope.
