    leaking belly ballast

I also have a 2005 SV-211 TE Air Nautique and the belly tank fills up. I have to drain it all the time when just running. When yours was leaking did you have the ski locker filling up with water? Mine goes in for more service in the morning. How long does it take to correct this problem?

      surfdh74,

I to am having problems with leaking ballast, and I just noticed the water in my ski locker this weekend. I had noticed that I was getting water from somwhere but not sure where. I plan to give my service dept. a call in the morning with another problem and I plan to discuss this with them also. If you guys have any helpful info. about leaking ballast please let me know. And one last thing is the swapping out of the ballast valves covered under warranty?

they will replace the stock flow-rite valves with T-H valves, that will solve the problem

Mike - I'm with you. I watch the gauges/listen to the pumps and turn them off when empty instead of leaving them run. Was out this w/e, watched them closer and found they shut off within a second or 2 of running dry (not the 15+/- stated before). As for draining over the side, I like that there aren't any more holes in the side of the boat. Besides, I think with the single/reversable pump setup it would be difficult to fill. LOL!

I have yet to have a tank fill on it's own while cruising or skiing. Hope it stays that way.

I ran mine this weekend as well, the pumps automatically shut off within a minute of hitting the empty guage. thanks.

              GAnautique,

Correctcraft here in Orlando tells me it is hose that has come off why my ski locker keeps filling up? I think it still is the belly ballast. Because it fills when I'm moving or sitting. Either way I just want it fixed the right way. This is the third time they will have it. But this time they are picking the boat up. I love the boat and so far that is the only real problem. Hopefully it will be corrected the right way I will be able to enjoy it for the rest of the Florida summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
