Sun pad won't go up...

    Sun pad won't go up...

    clicks on the down toggle but nothing when trying to raise it. Removed back seat and saw the wires looked to be old and frayed so I cut the plug and reconnected. Same result. I can hear the relay click when I push the toggle up but it doesn't move. Any thoughts?

    96 Super Sport.

    Pretty common problem. Most people replace the factory lift jack with a couple of gas struts when the jack quits.

      Figured as much. Which struts are people going with?
