    G23 Throttle/Shifter removal

I'm hoping this is real easy. I have a 2014 G23. I need to remove the panel behind the throttle handle in order to change my speakers to Wetsounds. In order to do this the throttle handle needs to be removed. Anyone know how to do this?

Do you have to cut something out??? I changed mine and didn't pull it.. It's a PITA for sure!! Reach behind and fold the tabs on the grilles out.

I found it easier just to pull the panels off. The panel by the throttle is the only one I'm having problems with due to the throttle arm. I'm also mounting a ws420bt above the throttle. I need access to see where I'm cutting. I know I'm just missing a trick on how to remove the throttle lever.

Usually, there is an allen head setscrew at the very bottom of the handle (stand on your head to see it!). Remove it, then unscrew the phillips head screw that holds the lockout button in place. The handle will slide off towards you. Reverse procedure to reinstall.

No Allen screw on the bottom.

Guys. I just had the need to remove mine. You need to get a small set of Allen keys. Remove the neutral isolation button (1/16)?. Behind that is 3@3/32 Allen screws. I would share picts but the forum is nÂ’ot allowing it.
