I have a 2013 Linc screen that freezes on the Nautique logo. I tried rebooting to only have the same outcome. It did go to the " go to dock" screen but froze there.

My suggestion is take it to a dealer immediately. If its just out of the warranty period you might be able to sweet talk someone to help. Otherwise a new one costs $4K. I think someone had a LINC module for sale on the site. You might want to look around and see if its still available.

Does anyone know of a LINC unit being reprogrammed or reconditioned as opposed to just being replaced? Just curious, I've only heard of them being replaced under warranty or at a significant cost.

I think it depends on the issue.. I know my dealer "re-flashes" them all the time, basically a 10 min process, adding the most recent update or software available, just need to stick a thumb drive in the dash. Unfortunately if that doesn't work, yeah... You might be shopping for a new one.

BTW the screen does not stay black as the Nautique logo appears and freezes, which make me believe even more that its only a firmware update. Thanks for the responses. Fingers crossed!!

Up to you, hard to say, it's obvious some dealers are better than others, but for a software update id try the close one. I would guess odds are good even if you drive it the 8 hours, that dealers first suggestion will be to flash it with the latest firmware and send you home to see if it helps. If you're still under warranty it might be worth going to them showing a documented paper trail of issues, but if not, id go to the close dealer. If the software upgrade doesn't help, at least then you can call the dealer 4 hours away and start the phone call by saying, "I am running software xxxx ver. 1234" and having this problem" which would save you ~ 7 hrs of towing

Just throwing this out there... I have a brand new never used replacement... Not sure if it is the same model or not, we have a 2010 210. If it comes down to needing to be replaced, I'd be willing to sell it.
