2002 stern navigation light

I realized my stern light that is on a pole that you need to pur into the connecting slot when dark out is not working. There seems to be 3 connections that occur. ON the light pole there is nothing sticking out for a connection to occur, but then I notice that inside the housing located behind the back seat that you flip up to plug the light into there was also nothing sticking out as prongs to allow for a connection. CAN someone tell me what its supposed to look like inside that housing. I am not sure if a piece is missing or what.

There should be prongs sticking up inside the fitting on the stern of the boat. Most likely you need to take that entire fitting out and replace it.

Yes I don't see prongs. I am guessing those got broken off
