Oil Pressure

Hey guys,

I have a couple of questions. I have been having the check engine light come on and had some one pull it and it said Low oil pressure. I am getting a reading of 40-45psi idle and cruising speed it jumps to around or under 75 and stays steady. I replaced the oil pressure/ sending unit and same results. I have 2009 SAN with EX 343 engine. The oil looks good and using Amsoil 15w-40. Do you know if that is normal for the oil pressure to stay in the
75 range??

Hi the oil pressure looks good to me, I do not see any problem with it. Our 351 ran with 70+ oil pressure according to the gauge, with the Amsoil 15-40 which we still run and have run since 1988.
