i have a 2016 g23, with 80 hours. Got a warning message yesterday, "DTC 113 IAT voltage high" "spn: 105" "FMI: 3". Hit the ignore button, and surfed for about 4 hours, no problems, on the way back to the dock got the warning again. Any ideas?

DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code), 113 IAT voltage high (Input Air Temperature). Generally speaking, as temperature increases, resistance decreases. Therefore low temperature results in a high signal voltage. over 5 volts on the sensor and you get the 113 error code.
So possibilities...
A bad sensor (maybe.. just bad luck?)
Short circuit (something got pinched?)
Bad connection at IAT sensor (most likely)
Bad grounding (maybe if anyone has messed around with your grounding)
Bad PCM module (highly unlikely)
There might be someone on here that can tell you specifically where the IAT sensor is on your engine. These are just generic codes and I'm not familiar enough with the PCMs yet to know where everything is.Last edited by jshack01; 06-05-2017, 11:13 AM.

Have a 16G with H6 and also got the DTC 113 code this past weekend. Going to go through the steps above... Does anyone have a diagram showing exactly which sensor it is? Seen a couple different diagrams that show on the flame arrestor and others that show aft section of intake manifold. Been unable to locate one referencing the H6 series.
Thanks!
