    Need help Ballast problem

Hey, i have a 2000 Air Nautique and it is having major ballast problems. It takes about 20 minutes to fill the starboard ballast and the port only fills 3/4. If i drive and fill, then both of them fill in about 10 minutes completly.
They both drain in 5 minutes.
the fill pump is about 6 months old and i took it apart and it is fine.
the drain pump is brand new.
all the water lines are clear.
i always set the air valve things to on when filling.

The wierd thing is when its filling, the starboard side will start spiting out water when the tank is only like 1/2 full
also the starboard side vent hole near the driver makes like a sucking noise.

umm i think thats the best i can explain it,
Thanks for any help, this is really driving me insane
    thanks
    nick

    RE: Need help Ballast problem

Do you know your gauges work correctly? I don't know how it would start overflowing the water without the tank full. We have ours apart right now to replace a bad tank level sender and the overflow is at the top of the tank.

Since you said all the plumbing is flowing freely, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that the air vent lines are not working properly. Sorry I can't help more.
