I go to the local fuel dock around the corner from my house. It's about a dollar more, and my average fill up is about 20-25 gal. But for my $20 extra, I get:
-Ethanol free gas with additives
-Never have to get out of the boat, and the dock guy brings ice for the cooler.
-Supporting local business/kids that work the dock with tips
-I don't have to fill, transport, and store a bunch of gas cans
-Ultra convenience.
-They sell Jello shots!!

After trying different solutions from Gas Caddy to carrying and pouring in 5 gallon cans, this was my final solution. I can fill all the cans at the gas station and roll all the way down dock. The syphon tube moves the gas directly to the boat. Maybe not the fastest but gives me a few extra minutes to clean the boat a bit more. Also nice that my kids can easily do this themselves.

Easy, inexpensive and very fast.
First you insert the funnel. It does not move around at all because it's a snug fit.
Then add stabil (if the gas goes in the boat the same weekend, I do it
this way. If the gas will be stored for any time at all, I put the stabil in the gas cans)
Then pour in your gas
With the JP Racing gas cans, 6 gallons takes under 35 seconds.
With a regular gas can it's 5-10 seconds longer.
I can put in 4 gas cans (24 gallons), not spill a drop and be back on the water in less than 5 minutes.
Exact same solution for the jetskis.

I live on a neighborhood on the lake and it's a pain to drag to the station. The shaker hose and some 5 gallon cans works. Set the can on top of a ladder next to the boat shake it to get started and let it do it's thing.1989 Ski Nautique 2001- Best first boat ever

Here is something quite a bit different and I am sure more expensive:
The gas dingo:

Faction Marine in MN has this on their FB Page.

Seems like it would be a nice set up for those of you that live on the water.
