Fresh Air Exhaust on 2007 236

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with adding a fresh air exhaust to a 2007 236 or something similar? Looking to add one to help reduce noise and exhaust smell at lower speeds (13 mph and slower).

I did on a 2009 230 which is basically the same boat as yours.
It eliminates the fumes which is a big plus.
It affects the surf wave a little bit but nothing you can't overcome by changing weight in the boat.

I have my own NSS style surf plates so I can't say anything if you use another system.
