These are my controls for the rear launch control ball valves, I never move them, they just stay open.

Circled in Red are my ball valves, connected to the levers above.
Circled in Yellow are the Flowright valves that seam to fail for so many people.

The controls from my previous post above work the Flowright valves through a cable, much like a throttle cable.

Yeah, in the early 2000's it seams things changed almost every year, so that would not surprise me.

Those are your hard valves going to the tanks. I have the same issue on my port side. When closed and driving the tank fills slowly. It is possible they don't close all the way or the seal around the ball which is allowing water to go through with enough pressure from driving. I need to replace the valve as the other side is no issue, it closes tight.

It's very probable that the ball isn't completely sealing inside the valve. Even a small leak at rest turns into a large amount of water when under way, because of the intake scoops (skippers) beneath the hull.

You can try and adjust the throw of the valve by tightening the nut on top of the valve, of just replace it. It's not a special valve. Just a brass water valve from a hardware store will do.

Those valves failed in my old boat. I replaced them and upgraded the entire ballast system to impeller pumps. Fills and empty much faster and never had the problem of filling while underway. The original equipment functioned but it was not the best design.

The valves in the yellow circle are non existent in my boat.

Interesting, just curious, what model is your boat? ie, Team, Limited, base, whatever?

The look in your picture of the mounting location for the controls for the Flowright valves in your boat looks like you never had them.
