I am having an issue with my starter remaining engaged whether the key is in the ignition or out. I just replaced the engine and had it out on the lake. Was working perfectly with no issues with the starter. Half way through the day, the starter engaged and kept spinning. I thought it was the ignition switch or starter relay. Replaced both and the starter continues to run anytime the Perko switch is on. Wondering if it is the starter solenoid. The starter only has one cable going to it and it seems the issue may lie elsewhere. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you!
