    Acme 1235 on 08 SV211

Alright, this past weekend I had boat completely loaded with ballast (1600lbs) and 5 people to go boarding. For the first time my 211 actually struggled to get on plane... so much so that I had one person stand at my walk through windshield to help her out a little. Anyone else having the same issue? ... made a call to acme and was recommended the 1235. Haven't seen a whole lot of optimism on this prop. Before I order, who is running them and what are your experiences??

Having the same issue here when i get 5-6 people in the boat, definitely need some additional weight up front to get on plane. Putting the wakecontrol to slalom then back to wakeboard once on plane seems to help out some though.

Yes I have already tried that, are you running a 211 as well?

Yes got 2007 SV211 TE. I also ride with piggyback sacks in the back on top of the stock ballast.

i run the 1235 when the big kids come with me and want the boat heavy. you will like the added torque. I don't like the rpms it runs when heading to back of lake, but is my spare prop in the truck. should take care of your problem. lowered my top speed to 35 at 5000 rpm.

I have been running a 1235 on my SV211 for a few years. I do like the added low end power the prop offers. But like stated above, the RPMS are high if you are running WOT.

I have a 1235 for my 08 211 as a spare prop. I have used it a few times when I knew I was going to heavy or the couple times I went to high altitude. Good when you need it. Otherwise the rpms are a little too high for me for everyday use.

Wish I would have checked back on the post, ended up buying one. I do like it though, I honestly thought it would have more grunt than it does. But at the end of the day, it does what I wanted it to.
