    Battery?

I have a 1997 Ski Nautique with Ford GT40. What would be a good battery for my engine?
Just purchased a Interstate battery with 850 cc amps. Is that to low or to high of cc amps?

    Thanks in advance!

I used Interstates in my 1999 Air Nautique for the entire 17 years I owned it. They always did just fine.

Thanks for the info. What I forgot to ask was about the Cold Cranking Amps, just purchased one with 850 CC. Just wondering if that's to low or to high of CC amps.
      Thanks again...

That is good, I have a gt40 but use a two battery system and installed a battery switch. If your boat sits allot I recommend trickle charger at least monthly. You may also get a battery tender type charger. AGM batteries have a higher reserve capacity but cost more. It depends on how you use your boat, what your stereo system draws and make sure not to try starting with a week battery as that computer is sensitive to voltage drops. Furthermore they are no longer available. I am working with some people in this forum to solve the issue, but waiting for confirmation if it is a reliable fix. make sure you have good tight connections.
