    Belly tank leak?

Have a 2014 210 and the surf hasn't seemed the same recently. One thing I noticed was while filling the belly and the piggy backed bow bag the bilge has been running a ton. Opened up the floor access and noticed as soon as the tank got full water starts coming back to the bilge. seems like it has to be that the belly tank has a leak on top. However I don't see anywhere to check.. does the fuel tank need to be removed to get the belly tank out? Any chance this will be covered under warranty?

Welcome to my world. If your leak is like mine, you'll need to remove the 6" high partition that's under the bow seat cushions that prevents stuff from falling back. Get a flashlight and see if you can see it. Mine cracked on an inside corner on the top of the tank. It's super hard to access. The actual break is directly over the walk-through. I attempted to repair it with JB Weld epoxy putty as well as other methods and failed. Flex seal tape has seemed to temporarily make it better until the dealer can get time to replace it. You'll find that tape in the "as seen on TV" section at Target.

Just read your thread.. sounds fun. Is dealer saying it will be covered under warranty? I was thinking of just taking my piggy back system off and filling the bag manually. Once the belly is full it'll leak but should stop after enough comes out. Thought I'd go this route to avoid downtime and have dealer fix it in the off season...

So far it seems like it will be covered. If not, I will be raising some major H E double toothpicks. In my case, it's clear that the tank wants to expand and open right at that inside corner. It's a weak spot. I think they said it's a 5 hour job to R&R the whole thing. Fuel tank has to come out first.

Just ran the pump again and was able and can clearly see water shooting out at one spot of the tank... I don't see anyway I can get to it without removing tank... to think I thought getting a newer boat would lead to less problems...
