I have a 1999 Air Nautique with GT-40 motor. When I went to take it in for a service I was told that there was a leak in the fiberglass tube that runs from the manifold to the bottom of the exhaust ( sorry I don't know the official name). They could not get a patch to hole and when they went to remove it the whole thing crumbled. They are having a hard time finding a replacement. If anyone knows where I could find one of these parts or could offer me another solution I would appreciate it. Thanks so much.

Have you checked with nautiqueparts.com? Other good resource would be CCFan.

I noticed Fresh Air Exhaust is mentioning they are building stainless mufflers. Possibly they could help. http://www.freshairexhaust.com/home/mufflers/

I had the same issue with mine, it just had a crack on it. But, I have a 1997 Ski Nautique with a GT-40. I purchased a replacement one from Nautique Parts, easy to install.
