2008 SANTE 230 - Tow rope rubs Bimini Top - Suggestions?

I have a 2008 SANTE 230 with a factory Bimini top and my tubing tow ropes have rubbed right through the fabric. I've tried the rope going under the bimini and over the bimini and both rub the fabric. I decide to go under as my "standard" and now the material is ripped.

Has anyone else run into this? Can the problem be solved?

You tie off to the tower? I thought that was a no-no. Aren't there warning stickers about that on your tower? Nautique puts warning stickers anywhere they'll fit. In fact, if Nautique had their way, I bet they'd wrap the entire boat in one all encompassing group of warning stickers.

I tube from the tower - yes. Is that no-no? I asked the dealer and they said people do it from both. I'd like to hear what people are doing on this.

I have an '04 SV211 with an earlier Flight Control Tower version and I tow tubes from the tower. It makes me a little nervous when the tube gets heaving - i.e. 3 adults but I have no worries with the kids. RARELY would I ever have 3 adults though
