Using pre-installed maps function on G23 2017

Has anyone found information about how to use the pre-installed maps function?

I took delivery of my first G23 today - and I'm super excited. It's a coastal with maps but I cannot find a source for learning how to use the maps functions.

I am pretty sure they are navionics chips so there should be some literature on their site.

Long shot here but on a Malibu you simply touch the screen and all the options for using the map pop up. Pretty self explanatory at that point. One other thing to mention that may or may not apply to the SN. On the Malibu if you order the mapping feature from the factory it's around 600 dollars. All Malibu's are however set up for mapping. You van buy the chip from Navionics for 120 and a 15 dollars GPS antenna and simply plug them both in and you have the mapping! 5 minute install.

Anyone know if they are working on making the breadcrumb trail longer on this system? They are unusably short.

I actually reported the bread crumb issue to Nautique. I was shocked that I got a call back. They are aware of it, I assume it will be fixed in Linc updates??
