Mine has always been connected to Bluetooth and I have two different Pebble Classics, neither of them work with the "next track" function by long pressing the "volume +" button. Anybody else have this issue?

Also, if your Pebble Watch is running an OS newer than 2.9.1, you will need to downgrade the OS before Surf Select will work. See this guide for more information.

You can't. The Pebble 2 WILL NOT WORK with any version of Surf Select. Again, the supported models are:

        - Classic
        - Steel
        - Time
        - Time Steel

        No other models will work.

I bought the classic. In the first wear, wtar got in and got messed up. I bought a steel which i had to return cause didnt work. Which would be the best? I just want to use it behind the boat all the time.
          Thank you

I just buy the Classic. They're the cheapest ones and the only difference is the Steel supports Ballast Shift which I never use.

Thank you. It is terrible that water gets in them when they are supposed to be water proof

Same with mine. I can’t change tracks with my watch. Very frustrating because that and volume are the main things I wanted the watch to do

No. It's Bluetooth. Only one device at a time can be in control of the LINC.

I'll test it again this weekend. I don't use the track advance feature very often but it worked the last time maybe a year ago.

Yes I use the track changing feature all the time on the watch while surfing. As Charles stated above, this feature only works if the music is coming through a bluetooth signal. The feature will not work if the music is coming through an Aux cable.

Bluetooth does not work for me. Never has. I tried a few different classics and none of them work.

OK, let's be clear on what we're talking about here. The Pebble watch communicates with the LINC via Bluetooth. That's the only way to connect the two.

Your phone connects to the HEADUNIT via Bluetooth, USB or AUX cable. Even if you go through the LINC to pair your phone with the boat, your phone is NOT paired with the LINC. It's paired to the headunit. The LINC simply acts as a remote for the headunit.

If everything is paired up and connected, pressing the volume button on the Pebble sends that command to the LINC which then forwards it on to the headunit. It's no different than pressing the button on the LINC itself.

I understand. My phone is connected to the HU via Bluetooth, and the pebble is connected to the Linc via Bluetooth. All other radio commands work on the pebble with the exception of next track.
