I only have Pebble Time models and the track changing feature works on all 3 of them.

Has anybody found a solution to this track changing problem? Tried a Time and a Classic, neither of them work with the "track change" function.

Yep works all the time . In order to changes tracks it must be in Bluetooth mode . You can not have the music device hooked up to an AUX cord. Hold top right side button on watch to advance a track . I did it just today countless times. If you have an AUX cord throw it overboard and never use It again . Been there done that .

I am always hooked up with Bluetooth. Have never hooked up an aux cable. I have tried several Pebble Classics and a Pebble Time, all the functions work, with the exception of "track change"... I don't understand it. Even when I hit the track change function on the watch, the Pebble icon on the LINC screen lights up, confirming it received the command... But it does not change the track. I've also tried a few different phones, all with the same result.

Does anyone else have this issue?

Don't know what else to tell you other than my above comment. Are you holding the top right button to switch tracks? You can not just push the button you must keep it pushed in to advance the tracks

Yes. I know. I'm holding it. Otherwise it just increases the volume.

Guys, I'm finally getting around to doing this. I never could get the little 'blue handheld' to work so figured I might as well buy a Pebble Classic and try it.
I have a 2016 and the Linc version is 20160418.2.8.10308

My Pebble watch is running 3.12.3 firmware. I got the NSS app to install on the watch per the instructions on the site but the headunit won't pair with the watch.
Do I need to downgrade the watch firmware (per an earlier thread) or somehow upgrade the Linc Firmware (which may require a dealer to help me).

I find it odd that the watch or the blue device that came with the boat both don't pair, but could just be a coincidence. I'm doing this all from the Link Head Unit as you'd expect where you put the system in Pair Mode.

                Thank you!

Unfortunately there is no solution for a MY 2016 boat if it has the original Surf Select 1.0 or 1.2 module. There is simply no way to get the old version of the NSS app downloaded to the Pebble watch. I spent hours on this one night. I could get the watch on the old firmware and I could get the old version of the Pebble app on my phone, but I could not get the old version of the Pebble app on my phone to download the NSS app. There is no way to reconfigure it to look at the new Rebble servers.

You have a couple of choices:

                  - If you want to stay with Pebble, you can purchase a Surf Select 2.0 module for your boat. That will work with the latest-and-greatest versions of everything.

                  - You can purchase a Surf Select 3.0 module for your boat and go with a Garmin watch.

Thanks for the reply Charles. I was able to get the Surf app on the Pebble watch but can't get the Pebble watch to connect to Linc via Bluetooth (we're probably saying the same thing, just clarifying).
If I need a surf select module, is that a physical piece of hardware I need to replace or a software upgrade from the dealer? I have a great dealer pretty close by but getting my boat there is a pain so hopefully this is something I can buy and do on my own.

Ok, I see what you are saying now. When I have the newer Pebble firmware I can install the NSS app but it won't pair with my 1.0 Surf module. When I downgrade to the older Pebble firmware (2.8.1) then the NSS App won't install back on the Pebble watch. Either way, upgrade the surf module to 2.0 (Pebble) or 3.0 (Garmin) is my only option. Gotta love technology

You got it exactly right. The Surf Select module is in the Starboard compartment. It's up high on the bulkhead panel and it's about the size of a deck of cards. You'll see it there.

You can upgrade to a newer module. There will most likely be a firmware upgrade required as well.
