I have a new throttle cable to put in on my 1997 Sport Nautique. I would appreciate advice on how to put this in. We briefly tried on Saturday but ran into 2 problems:
1. Pulling the cotter pins from the throttle control (next to the drivers seat) was very difficult. Do we need a special tool?
2. Loosening the existing throttle nut at the end of the cable on top of the engine is tough!! It's not easily accessible. We couldn't loosen it.
Your input and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
