is there a low fuel warning

was out had 1/2 a tank 6 hrs later dead lol no gas wow that was fun .

My warning is when it says 0% lol.

Uugh....no. The boat just starts chugging and makes a sound that kinda sounds like "dumbazz"...."dumbazz"....and then it just stops. In 40+ years of boating I have never run out of gas....until last Saturday.

Happened to me once in 20 years. Only because my stupid friend kept telling me "we had plenty of fuel." Famous last words.....

I swear, anyone towing an out-of-gas fellow boater should have the legal right to demand all of the people in the boat they're towing to wear dunce caps.

6 hours, 1/2 tank, sounds about right depending on the running to sitting ratio. Yep, ran out ONCE, and ran out 500 yards from the marina after deciding to go the long way around Whitelake instead of the short way...dunce day for sure. Boater certificate site says to always reserve 1/3 of the tank for emergencies.

What year is the boat? My 2006 has a low fuel alarm that goes off at 1/4 tank which I wish I could turn off!
