Safe to Say, TSBs and Issues this Numerous on a New Boat...not a good start...

Replaced a missing catalyst that PCM never installed from jump street, had the fuel line/heater hose TSB, now the belt tensioner replaced--all in my first month. This is to say nothing of the resurgent prop shaft breaks on two 2017 boats in Austin built around the time mine was built... (not an official TSB). I bought this boat because I wanted the best, and I'm fortunate to be able to afford it. All boats have issues/bugs; that said, this is nuts..

Hang in there. You'll get it worked out. I'm still getting bugs out of my 2015 with 140 hours. My issues now are mostly little tricky tack PITA items, but bugging me none the less. I'm hoping it's just a process that will be over very soon. Worst case (for Nautique) is I don't buy another new one for awhile once I get the issues all taken care of. Why would I when I know what I'm gonna be in for again after another new purchase? If Nautique wants to put out a product that needs this quantity of QC failures fixed, they're cutting their own throats by watering down their reputation. They've been around since 1925. I'm sure their QC will get back to normal. As for the prop shaft issues, if I had that happen to me with my family on board, I'd be flying to Orlando and getting Shaun Murray in a full Nelson until... JK

Seriously though, that is deplorable and should be embarrassing for them that they haven't 100% rectified this prop shaft situation.

Oh, try this on for size: After eleven years of ownership, my brand new 2005 SAN 210 only lost ONE DAY of useage (due to an upholstery blemish). That's it in eleven years. No mechanical, no equipment or any other kind of failure in ELEVEN YEARS! They don't make em like they used to.

The issue is that boats mfgs don't have official TSBs like the auto industry has with quality monitoring standards etc etc. I'm sure the marine manufacturers association does well at ensuring the feds don't enact legislation. At that point we would definitely see alot more real TSBs and official returns to dealers for warranty/defect items.
