2014 oil change

Maybe I will get through familiarizing myself with my "new to me" 2014 G21.

Oil change time. I found the quick drain hose but isn't even close to long enough to reach the thru hull drain plug in the bilge area.

Am I missing something?

I have the same problem in my 200V. I ended up getting an oil extractor, it takes forever :-(

You need an oil extractor, consider the Pela 6000

Everyone is right on here. Get an oil extractor but use it with the oil drain tube. Do not thread the oil changer tube down the dipstick tube. It can get caught on a sharp edge at the bottom and won't come out. Instead, just thread the extractors tube down the oil changer hose. It'll fit just fine. All you need to do is estimate how much to thread in so it's at the lowest point in the changer hose.

Connect the oil extractor to the too short drain hose.

Thanks y'all. I am amazed that the factory would install a quick drain tube designed to be ran through the drain but the hose isn't even close enough.
