Dean,
I have a 2016 G23 with the 450 HP motor and have experienced the immediate shut down of the motor when out surfing twice and then the boat won't start. The dealer seems to have no idea how to resolve it. The last time it happened so quickly the surfer smashed into the rear platform. Can you tell a little more about the similar issue you described and how I might be able to resolve it.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
I did not have a similar issue, when my boat died it was the plug behind the keypad not being pushed in all the way. Now that I think about it perhaps you could have the same issue?? If you take the panel out under the steering wheel and reach up and WAY over and down (need long arms) you will reach the the plug, just push it in till it clicks.

Update on 2016 G25 with issues.
Ron Nace called me back today and offered to extend my powertrain warranty to 1000 hours and that the oil would be 100% cleaned by the dealer at Nautiques expenseAll the rest of the stuff is really small stuff that I'm sure will be fixed. He turned out to be a very nice guy and I am happy to say that Nautique is a company that stands behind their products! I'm sure that if there were going to be major issues with the powertrain they would show up by 1000 hours.
