Hey everyone,
i just received my new Nautique 210 with NSS and pro wake ballast option (additional 300lbs sac in each rear lockers).
totally love the boat! But since past week I've done few research on upgrading the original fatsac for bigger ones.
question is what are your thoughts about this mod?
On previous post majority said to put 750 on each side.
yesterday I take the exact size on rear locker
its 53" long, 16" width, approx 22" depth without the trays.
i installed additional "U" bars on the port side panel and couple More pins to avoid popping when ballast fully loaded.
just done port side because, for my needs I think 750 on both sides maybe too much and 750 fatsac are 50x20x20 I think fully loaded they make too much pressure on side panels.. already got the hard tanks 400´s. I think 600lbs should be fair enough. For a total of 1000pounds each side.
already love the wave but I know next summer I will regret not doing this mod now haha.
But I don't want to weight the boat too much and always have the wave coming over when we stop.
I would like to keep trays too, not a need but if I can save them why not.
so I had an idea! We are all surfing port side (everyone). So maybe put a 400 on starboard side. And a 600 port side.
wakemakers have nothing for 600pounds unless custom. That was an option but I think I will buy a 750 and just not full it. Less expensive.
with that option I can keep my starboard side tray and in any case I want to add more weight I can fill up the 750 port side.
that sound a good idea? Or Should i put both rear side the same weight?
I don't really know much how the NSS react. Maybe it's better when the boat is balanced or it don't really matter.
thats why I would like some of your thoughts!
Thanks a lot.
oh yes and i already have a 250lbs sac under the bow filler cushion that is always staying there we barely notice it.
I love to have a long and steep wave.
