Cuts out under load - IGN. run circuit breaker

Hey guys, I'm new to this, but could you please help..

I have a 2000 Super Air Team Edition, when idling at the dock the boat is fine and will rev happily upto 2000rpm, however as soon as we load the boat up with people and try and get the boat on the plane the engine cuts out and the IGN. run circuit breaker pops out..

If we wait a few secs, it can then be pushed in and the boat starts, but it won't get the rider out of the water as it cuts out again..

We are unsure why this is happening and it is very frustrating as nothing has changed since last weekend..

We don't have a heater, shower, nav light or stereo so I assume the alternator is coping..

Any ideas?

Bad connection somewhere. Start at the battery and work your way back so you don't miss anything. Clean or replace any corroded parts. Check for burns or cuts on wires. It is an electrical problem b/c the breaker keeps popping.
