    Transmossion concern and vibration Question

Just purchased an 86 2001 with about 400 hours on it from the original owner. After about an hour in the water everything appears to be fine except the following. When attempting to turn hard right under power (drop a skier crank it around to come back) it will seem to slip into neutral for ~ 2 seconds when you really apply the throttle. At first I thought it was cavitation, because as soon as you back off the throttle it catches. It does not do it on left turns. It pulls hard from a stop with no slipping.
It has a vibration between 3100 and 3300 rpm that is more of a buzz/rattle that you can feel but i think that is not anything to do with it. its smooth as glass below 3100 and above 3300 rpm. Any thoughts?
    Thanks.

RE: Transmossion concern and vibration Question

Check your fluid level there should be two lines on the dipstick make sure it is at the top line when the boat is not running. on the vibration it could be the harmonic vibration in the prop, but does it vibrate in a straight line or in a corner?
