    2017 G23 Port Side Battery Warning 5.6V

My family and I just purchased a new G23 and picked it up yesterday. We spent a lot of time on the water today and then on the way back in to dock tonight I received this warning on the display. I have the onboard charger but that doesn't seem to charge the port battery. Any suggestions?

5.6v reading doesn't make much sense. If that's the entire voltage available to the ECM, it won't run....so I'm guessing there's something going on with how your boat is wired.

You mention the onboard charger but I don't see its relevance in this situation (?).

Ultimately under warranty if it's something that's a real issue. In the mean time, measure the voltage at each battery and compare it to what you're seeing at the dash (you can do this with or w/o running the boat. Isolate the batteries with the battery switch.. Expect the dash reading to be lower than the battery reading but not by a large amount). That will tell you if your gauge is reading the batteries correctly.

At the end of the day, I'd also recommend installing an ACR.
