    engine overheating

    I was on the river for three hours everything was fine. Started the boat made a very laud throaty sound and overheated quickly A lot of water in bilge.It was to dark to take look at the problem Any suggestion?

    No photos. No idea what year model you're talking about.

    Most likely you blew an exhaust coupler but there's no way to know without a lot more information.

          Likely your raw water inlet hose let go (why you had so much water in the bilge), therefore no water getting to the exhaust manifold. Overheated the exhaust tubes (due to lack of cooling water) and probably blistered one or both on the inside. Temps were high enough inside the hose(s) and one blew out.
