We have a small bag underneath the portside seat on our boat loaded with suntan lotion, soap, shampoo, etc. Over the weekend the bag was out and somehow the shampoo/conditioner got on the black interior sidewall inside of my 230 and just created a white haze about 10" x 6". I didn't notice it until the next day. I tried Meguiars interior cleaner....it didn't work. Any suggestions?

Any pics? Is that black interior sidewall upholstery vinyl or plastic or something? Did the white haze show up after rinsing with water a bunch? BTW - where in Terre Haute do you do your boating? sorry for all the questions...

I don't have any pics but can definitely snap some this weekend. I don't know what the material would be....vinyl or some kind of naugahyde. I didn't see it until the next morning....it was a white haze....tried to hit it with water first...just wiped it down...then went to meguiars. no luck there either. my daughter searched the internet...it recommended some baking soda...might try that this weekend..
as for IN boating I don't boat in TH any more. I used to boat at Mill Creek in Marshall,IL which is about 25 mins from here. I have a lake home in Angola...long drive from TH but worth every minute. where do you boat?

You could try some Totally Awesome Cleaner from the dollar store. A LOT of people use it to clean their boat interiors, but follow up with the Aerospace 303 to protect the vinyl after. If you use the TAC, just rinse it all away with water real good.
We keep the boat out at my parents house on Heritage Lake so do 95% of our boating there. We do a few side trips each year typically. Those lakes up north are pretty nice as I understand and typically very clean. That is a long drive from TH!

thanks for the input....will try TAC.
More people from TH are going to Heritage Lake. I heard its nice. We used to live in Fort Wayne in the 60s so that's how we got started up there....its a part of the family...about 3:45 to 4 hours. I will always go there.
