2008 Air Nautique 210 - Power Reduction Active - See Dealer Warning

I have a 2008 Air Nautique 210. The warning alarm is sounding and giving the message "Power Reduction Active - See Dealer". The alarm goes off after a minute and boat seems to be running fine with all gauges in the proper ranges. Any idea what this message means

My first guess would be a throttle position sensor, unless of course the engine is overheating. In that case, raw water impellor or belt.

Agree with vanhanbr on this as it is usually related to an overheat condition.
