2002 SAN ballast tanks

Hi everyone, im new to Nautique's, and find this forum a great help with questions or concerns.
I purchased a 2002 SAN a few months ago, and love it!!! But i have noticed that one of the real locker ballast tanks fills up periodically, i have both fill valves shut, so i was wondering if anyone could give me some insight.

common problem for those years, the cheap plastic valves would fail and allow water through. Many have either changed out the valves or upgraded to electronic valves. Either way getting to the valves is not easy.

Ok thank you for the info, i will probably go with the electronic replacements next year
