    Fuel filter location

On my 2009 Nautique Limited 196, where is the second fuel filter? One is at the front of the engine, and has the fuel pump in the center. Where is the primary (first) one? I think it might be a spin on filter.

I don't believe the 2009 used a spin-on style canister filter. Most likely it uses a smaller, in-line filter. I don't know exactly where it is on that model boat, but it shouldn't be hard to find. Start at the fuel control cell and work your way back. You should find it easily.

I'm pretty sure Charles is correct about you having an in-line filter. I think they switched over to the spin-on type filter in 2010 or 2011.

I believe it's the same as my 2008: in line, under the floor, between the motor and the rear of the tank. I got to mine by lifting the hatch underneath the rear bench seat.
