    Cleaners

Just want some thoughts from all of you as to what soap and interior cleaners to use on my boat.
I’m presently using Mequiars for washing and Ice interior.

    Thanks in advance.

You're going to get a LOT of answers to this. Here's what I do:

    - Water Spots : A spray bottle with 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water. Spray and wipe.

    - General washing of the outside and Seadek : Meguire's car wash shampoo.

    - Vinyl cleaning: 409

    - Vinyl, plastic and rubber treatment: 303 Protectant

    - Glass : Stoners Invisible Glass

Christines says not to use 409 on interiors.

How about Vinyl sauce and protective Sauce. I have use the cleaner and it does an amazing job but it doesnt mean it wont damage the Vinyl. It is sold at the dealer where I purchase my G23 but nothing says they will stand behind it. Let me know what you guys think.

I would use the 303 Aero Protection on vinyl . Been around forever and it is proven product to protect the vinly as well as keeping the vinyl from fading from UV rays. Ironically I just purchased a 32oz spray bottle from Amazon today to apply to my vinyl before I put my G up for the season

You should have asked an easier question like . . . "What kind of oil and filter should I use?"

Yeah, lots of opinions on this but here's what I use (96 Super Sport) and the vinyl is excellent and the exterior looks really nice as well.

Exterior wipe down every time out of water: Babe's Boat Bright
                  Wash: Meguire's Marine boat wash
                  Interior clean: Marine Spray 9
                  Interior protect: 303

Love the hot sauce for the hard surfaces and condition sauce for the soft. (Condition sauce is awesome for the inside of your car too!)

Check out Chemical Guys products. You will use less product than any other stuff out there. I've detailed cars on the side for years and it's the only product I use anymore

                          Wash-Hybrid wash and wax
Exterior wipe-Quick detailer and water spot remover
                          Interior clean- Inner clean
Interior protectant- Vinyl and rubber protectant
2 times a year wax- Wet Wax (greatest invention ever, put it on a wet boat or vehicle and helps with drying as well)
Also look into a foam cannon. Makes washing the boat even easier and great for mid-week washes on the tow vehicle

So I want to see what everyone’s currently using as a quick wipe down on vinyl... I don’t want do do something that is harsh or hard like heavy duty marine degreaser, but rather something that is almost a quick Detailer, but for vinyl just as it’s just a wipe down after a session.

Thinking some soap and water might be best? Thoughts?
