Hi, I have an ACME 2079 prop on my 2008 SAN Team 230 with the ZR6 engine. It's perfect for wakesurfing with a ton of ballast and people, but it sucks when it's time to cruise around with the family. My top speed (no ballast at all and 4 people on the boat) is about 37 mph at 5250 rpm. I'd like to buy another ACME prop only for cruising around (no wakesurf, no towing, no ballast). Any suggestions on the fastest prop out there ?

The fastest prop using the same 14.5 diameter would be the 2421That would be a huge change from your existing prop with a pitch of 12.02421 14.50 17.750 0.180 cup 4 1 1/8" LH id be willing to bet you would near 502079 14.50 12.000 0.105 cup 4 1 1/8" LH
when I run the 17.5 pitch acme 380 on my boat, I get up to 48mph at 5000
not optimum for cruising, but 42 at 4000 is not bad
There is alsoWith a pitch of 20, cruising around 50 might be a reality417 14.00 20.000 0.130 cup 4 1 1/8" LH

Thanks for the answers. I will change propeller depending on activity. I've done it and it's a 15 minute job. I believe I'll get it done in 10 minutes after a few times. No big deal.
Another question: What will the diameter do ? For exemple, If I get a 13.50'' diameter x 17.75'' pitch, how will it compare to a 14.50'' diameter x 17.75'' pitch ?
I've seen a few used propeller for sale, but most of them are 13.50'' or 13.00'' in diameter.

You should call ACME (they know the best prop for each activity) or Nettle Props (who has best prices and great repairs)....both can tell you the best prop to get tho and props have come a long way in last couple years....some can give you hole shot and top speed, tho not an extreme amount of either. If all you wanna do is go fast with the 2nd, then disregard that part but they can still tell you what prop will do before you buy and some will guarantee that if not satisfied, you can swap for another.
