    Exhaust?

This is the third summer that I have owned my boat. This summer I seem to have had a list of maintenance issues. I have noticed that the amount of exhuast fumes have gone from what I would call normal to excessive. Anyone got any insight into this topic?

Might change your spark plugs if you haven't done it already. I always start the season with a new impeller and new spark plugs. What engine do you have? Have you changed grades of gas? I've always run super unleaded.

Carb isn't leaned correctly probably. That is if the spark plugs are in good shape. Are you getting any black junk out of the exhaust as well?

It's probably just set too rich... I've been fighting with mine about that, I can't seem to get it right.

Jesse, are you finally moved up here? Which lake have you been going to?

I've lived here all my life, so far! We go to Lake O' the Pines when it has water in it. Usually stay around the Johnson Creek area. I sold my 2000 Sport last month and this is the first season in 30 years I haven't been skiing. Plans are to order a new 196 later in the summer.
