I'm considering buying a boat from the north bay area. It's a 2003 210. However, after thinking I made a good deal, new information has been revealed to me and the deal gets shadier by the minute. Now I'm thinking I need a mechanic to inspect the boat for me and want someone with experience with nautiques and if possible, experience identifying whether a boat has been in salt water before (they claim it has not, but I'm skeptical now). Thanks for the help.

I'm assuming this one? Can't tell from the pictures but, there could be a possibility of salt water use because there is the petaluma lagoon right there.

I almost bought that boat but several issues have come up. They stated that it had never been in salt water but the only place they were willing to let me test drive was in brackish water. That just doesn't make sense for a boat that has apparently never seen salt water. Guess I'll continue to shop as there were too many questionable moves by the dealer selling it.
