It looks easy to me. I'd be comfortable doing the upholstery work myself, but if you're not you could always pay a shop to remove/replace the skin. You're dealer might be willing to enable the seat heater button on LINC. You can then use a relay to turn it on. Or just install a separate switch. FWIW, on my 2015, the passenger side seat heater is turned on/off by a separate switch and the driver side is operated via LINC.
I love the seat heaters on my boat--they're always on in cold weather but we hardly bother with the regular heater.
