Removal of Heater and Shower GT-40

Hi! I have a 97 sport nautique with a GT-40 that has a heater and shower. I’m getting ready to winterize this weekend and I was thinking about disconnecting and plugging all the plumbing for the heater and shower as I don’t see a need for the features for our use. The boat is in storage about 30 minutes away and I was wanting to bring what I needed with me instead of making several trips if possible. Just curious if anyone knew what size plugs I would need to seal up the block once I disconnect the plumbing.

I might just use a hose loop in and out of the water pump. . 5/8” I believe. And two hose clamps.

Why disable them if they are installed and working? Takes 5 additional minutes when winterizing, otherwise no maintenance involved. I don't have a shower but after I installed a heater it made a huge difference for a lot of people, me included, in using the boat in cooler weather.

Agreed. The shower I'd probably ditch. Nobody I know that has one ever uses it anymore. The heater, however....

I ended up leaving them. It really wasn’t too much extra to winterize. I doubt that either will ever be used though
