2017 Ski Nautique 200 OB seat height - can it be lowered?

I have a 2017 Ski Nautique 200 OB. The seat height has me looking directly into the mirror at maneuvering speeds (docking, etc.) and has the top of my head getting hit by wind when driving through the course. Several people in my neighborhood have commented that the seat is too high. I have not pulled the seat out yet to look at it, but has anyone else noticed the same issue and does anyone know if there is a way to drop the seat a couple of inches?

Post this on ballofspray as well. Lots of 200 owners there who could assist, if you don't hear anything here. As far as I've seen, the seat only goes fore and aft.

You are correct. It as it sits, it only goes fore and aft. I'm hoping that when I pull it out I will be able to figure out a way to lower it. That may mean working with a machine shop, but I'm hoping there is an easier way.

Miami Nautique sells (I've only seen in clear silver only) an extension that raises the mirror 3-4 inches. I bought one and I still see me v=because of mirror shape, but I can see through the gap. I put on while in storage and have no knowledge of actual use. It appears it will be a big improvement .
