I like to have the correct tools for the job, what would be the options/pros and cons on a prop puller. It is for a 1999 19'6" with a 4 bladed prop. Also possible suppliers would be great too.

Wakemakers.com has them for around 40 bucks
If you look at the link I posted, someone there also asked and it was confirmed this will work with a 4-blade.

I have used a 'C' style remover on both 210 and 230 4 blade props with no prob. Leave the nut on a few threads after loosen it and before you pop the prop lose to prevent the prop hitting the ground. I also put an old towel or moving pad down in case I drop it...

I have used both, and have both...There is no right or wrong or better or worse or easier...Just two ways of doing..Last edited by scottb7; 11-29-2017, 07:45 PM.

Is the claw style better than Harmonic? Stands to reason claw would be better for a stubborn prop. I need one and wondering what is the best bang for my buck. Keep in mind I don’t foresee using it often (hopefully).
