    Acme 1846

Anyone running the 1846 on their 210? I did some searching and couldn't find much if any information with anyone having any real world experience with the prop.

I need to replace the prop on my 210 and this was the recommended Prop when I talked to the guys at Acme today.

I'd still like to hear from some people who've actually run the prop!

Interesting, because Wakemakers suggests the 644, 856, and 1578 - each for a higher average load, respectively. It seems like the 1846 would fall between the 856 and 1578, from looking at the specs of all three.

FWIW, I have the 1578 and have been very happy. I can over-rev it at WOT, but with a bit of a load it's great. I hear you, though, on wanting to hear from people who are actually using it! That's the only way to know for sure.

On the Supra boat forum there was a sticky thread for prop information - boat year, make, model, engine, transmission, prop specs, average load/usage, WOT RPM and such. It helped compile all the prop info that bounces around and gets lost in the forums.

I run the 1847 (14x14.25) on my Centurion SV244 with .150 cup.....and also 1433 (basically the same thing with .105 cup). I really cannot tell a difference between the 2 props, I dinged my 1433 in middle of summer and switched to the 1847 and ran it for last few months of summer. Both of them have excellent low end torque and great for surfing. I run a lot of ballast, around 5k lbs and it handles it with zero issues and still gives me 40mph on top end (perfect rev on WOT). Doubt it gets much better than that for my boat, dont imagine it would be much different for you boat, probably better since your boat is not quite as large

I have 1578 and carry about 2200 lbs of ballast with gt40 in OG super air.
With 3 big guys in the boat and full ballast it takes a bit to get up on plane. For a small OG 210 it does surf well and my step is buried about 6” under water at rest.

I’'d not want a lot higher gearing for my setup. None to be specific.

Don’t even know the top end speed. I don’t even go there. Cruising at 30mph is fine though In reality I mostly cruise at 25mph.

i just bought a 1846 last week for my 210. wakemakers had a sale. factory prop was 14" d, so i'm hopeful this thing will work great.
