2018 G23 Prop and Stereo Questions

New here but not to Nautique.

I have a 2018 G23 coming in March and want to make a few changes from my 17. In my 17 I had 440's plumbed into the rear lockers, 650 plumbed under the bow seats, additional 80lbs of lead in the bow, 200lbs of lead under rear port seat, and 80 under star rear seat, 6 rev 10's on the tower, 4 jl 12's and 2 additional batteries. That pretty much sums up all the major sources of weight in the boat. On the 18 I'd like to replace the 440's with 750's. However, we ride on a private lake so planing out in a hurry is very beneficial. I'm not considering going to a 550 due to never seeing that money upon trading in. But has anyone swapped to a props to get out of the hole faster? I couldn't care less about top speed so losing that is irrelevant. Thoughts?

Lastly, with 6 rev 10's having the stereo elite option in the last one was worthless because all you hear is the rev 10's. So I opted for the base stereo in the 18, with the intention of putting my own stereo all the way around. Does nautique still force you to order the base stereo to gain control from the linc system? I'm not willing to give that up but the integration is all I need, nothing else.

Thanks in advance for the hep.

Totally expected if you are asking most any in-boat system to compete with six 10" HLCD pods. You need to look at it from a surface area and wattage standpoint. If you want to have balance between an in-boat system and tower system, you need comparable surface area and wattage.

I like to treat them as two separate zones, and not competing with each other.

I don't think there has been a lot of prop testing on the 450. What elevation are you at?

What are you asking the boat to do? Get to surf speeds or wakeboard speeds?

I put a separate tower and interior volume control knob and could not be happier. I think the fiddling through screens to control volume got better with 2018, but it cannot be more simple than my rotary knob.

The system I'm putting in will be fine with the Rev 10's. But I'm trying to get to wakeboard speeds. With more than 4 people in the boat on the last set up it really struggled. I've seen a few ideas out there about going with a 17.5 or 18 inch prop and different pitch but no real input on whether it was better or not.

I did exacting what Tallredrider did , I had the stereo elite version in which I was not able to control the tower speakers separate from the cabin speakers; this scenerio was terrible. As a result, I put in 2 manual zone control knobs to separate the tower from the cabin speakers. Although I only have 2 zone control knobs, here is Kporsch's G23 with 3 manual aftermarket zone control knobs. I love my new set-up , very easy to use vs going through a bunch of screen prompts on the Linc screen while driving.

I' miss not too concerned with the stereo zone control the stereo that's going in the interior will over power the rev 10's. I just want to know if I can do a stereo delete to save money but still integrate to the linc system

maybe? that would be a good call to make to nautique corporate. does the stereo delete option still leave the power harness for a head unit/receiver? does it include the stereo to linc harness? does it include speaker wire in the tower?

I do know that Nautique wires all towers for 4 tower speakers whether the purchaser orders the boat with no tower speakers, 2 tower speakers or 4 tower speakers

that's great to know. i've seen that in most of the 08 and up wiring diagrams that are available on this site.

with out too much thought, you could run a lot of different number of speakers. maybe one rev410 and two rev10s. or just 4 separate tower speakers. 8 speakers if you run them bridged depending on impedance.
