Missing bolts in vdrive mount housing - see photos

    2015 G23 coastal
This is how it was then i bought it used. previous owner had the dealer do some work, replaced the drive shaft, warranty repair.
apparently the 2 bolts broke off inside the housing while the guys were doing something, and they didnt fix it. see photos
so the Vdrive housing is only secured from one side now

    thoughts?

that is messed up. Thoughts are "why would the tech/mechanic leave it like this?". second thought is, that's not good only being supported 50% of the way.

    Miami Nautique was the dealer?

i would take it back to the dealer that performed the work and tell them you need some warranty work done on their warranty work. at a minimum they should fix there mistake. if you get any flack back, i would say something along the lines of "well you treated the PO this way, and that not how I like to be treated. If you want any of my business in the future i need this right"

    just my $0.02

Did you transfer the warranty? I ask as from what I can see (very limited) it seems possible that the bolts broke off on their own? That outer gray flange doesn't looked threaded. My theory (and really that's all this is) is that it could have been possible something happened and one of those parts moved causing the bolts snap? Does that seem possible? If so I would think you could still take it back and have it covered. Shouldn't even be an argument as that shouldn't have happened.

However, if you really believe they broke it off then you probably will have a struggle on your hands. A decent machinist could get those out for you. Like everything else on a boat it probably won't be cheap or easy.
